Back in school, I played this game with friends where I would write a paragraph of a story, they would write the next one and I would write the next ad infinitum… Portrayl hands off by chapters and lets you play with the entire internet. Check it out.

Another collaborative writing site, this one has you write a short story and then others can create prequels or sequels with your characters. Pretty cool idea.
